when you die the score is not set to 0 ....so the more you start the game again when you die the more scores you will have !

The coins are creating a collision when you hit them. You can stop that by checking the box in the Collision tab that asks, "Is is a Sensor?"
Also, the deaths are very clumsy. I am able to run around briefly even after I die.
